What a joy and a blessing it was to get a call from my dear friend Shaddie asking if we would like a pallet load of peanut pastes.

It's been a long time since The Gathering was able to bless our Soup Kitchen regulars and others with these amazing & delicious packets of goodness, so Soup Kitchen this coming week will be excellent! And I'm sure that it will be busier than normal as word spreads that we have these pastes.

It was a blessing too to have a few of our regulars, and two former Homework Club members, to do the unloading and stacking for me. My back is beyond grateful for not having to unload that lot!

Once again it appears that UNICEF had decided that the nutritional values of the sachets was out, and so they couldn't use them. All I know is that their rejects are very welcome at The Gathering! 

So there we are, The Gathering has 72 boxes of peanut pastes just waiting to be a blessing to our Homework Clubs, our Soup Kitchen and the two Soup Kitchens we work with in Macassar.
