I recently scored a freeby (see: Another Book) thanks to my Discovery points and chose A Gentleman In Moscow, partly because I liked the cover, yes I'm guilty of judging books by their covers, and partly because the subject matter grabbed my attention and I have to say I was not disappointed.

If you get a chance to read this charming, entertaining gem, do yourself a favour and take it.Personally, on the strength of this one, I'm on the lookout for Towles's two other novels.
